Taste of Tolleson

At the City of Tolleson, we remain dedicated to providing regular city updates and making them available to the community through various virtual platforms. Tolleson Talks is a community forum for virtual updates and conversations focused around City programs and departments. Mayor Juan F. Rodriguez will host virtual Tolleson Talks featuring special guests and council members will be invited to co-host alongside the Mayor throughout the year.

In effort to continue to support local restaurants, each Tolleson Talks segment will feature a restaurant as the Taste of Tolleson and anyone attending the virtual talk will be entered for a chance to win gift cards to that restaurant. The Taste of Tolleson campaign supports local restaurants in the Paseo de Luces corridor and offers them an opportunity to showcase their menu. If local restaurants located in the Paseo de Luces corridor are interested in being featured during a Tolleson Talks, they can submit a request via email to publicaffairs@tolleson.az.gov.

Diversity of Expereince

The bodies were lying in the streets un-buried. All railroads and vessels carrying food and such things into the great city had ceased runnings and mobs of the hungry poor were pillaging the stores and warehouses. Murder and robbery and drunkenness were everywhere. Already the people had fled from the city by millions at first the rich, in their private motor-cars and dirigibles, and then the great mass of the population.

Objectively innovate empowered manufactured products whereas parallel platforms. Holistically predominate extensible testing procedures. This was followed by a series of projects (the Fides Building, Building in Picassoplatz, SBV Training Centre) in which the tension of construction (implemented primarily through particular ways of working with windows and doors) reveal the studio’s focus on plastic and morphological issues. With Italian influences (A. Rossi, G. Grassi), Diener & Diener’s urban projects aim to “give single large, anonymous constructions a metaphysical presence”.
